My oven mitts are made to be oversized so that they fit your hand comfortably. Many oven mitts are only haver a single layer of insulation which doesn't protect very well against the heat. These oven mitts have a double layer of protection, one layer deflects the heat while the other layer provides additional protection. Each oven mitt is quilted by machine. Remember, oven mitts are heat resistant but NOT fire proof. Do not put these oven mitts near any hot coils, the material will burn.
