My multilayer cotton mask are made of cotton material. Because its cotton, you can breathe easier when wearing it. All my cotton mask are 4 layers for best protection. CDC has ranked multilayer masks as #3 out of 10 compared to N95 and surgical masks respectively. All my masks are machine washable and therefore reusable too. Each mask has soft ear support, and cord locks. The cord locks allow you to adjust the mask for proper fit. There is a filter pocket - no filter included.

Some Guy's Sewing introduces the first mask filter for its mask. If you have purchased masks in the past - this is a vital accessory. Add a 5th layer of protection to your mask. This is a filter that will fit in the filter pocket of your mask. The filter is made from the same protective material as surgical masks and isolation gowns. The material is impervious to water but very breathable. It should help trap any germs you may breathe in or out and is completely removable. Remove the used filter and simply insert a fresh one for later. Of course, your mask itself is machine washable. Currently I have mask filters for Medium Size Adults. This is the most common size mask. If you are unsure of your mask size, please let me know and I will look up your order history.
